rs. Coggins and Bowyer both have completed three years of speciality training in gastroenterology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Gastroenterology fellowships are only undertaken after four years of medical school and three years of internal medicine residency. This training qualifies our physicians to perform several specialized diagnostic procedures including:
- Upper Endoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- ERCP
- Capsule Endoscopy (Pill Cam)
r. Coggins opened the practice in LaGrange, Georgia in 1991 and was joined by Dr. Bowyer in 1994. Outpatient procedures are performed at the Southern Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery facility and at West Georgia Medical Center, both in LaGrange, Georgia. Inpatient care is provided at West Georgia Medical Center where our doctors serve on staff.
