Payments and Insurance
Full payment is expected at the time of service. Our office participates with several PPO plans. Since all plans are different, please bring your insurance card with you at the time of your office visit. If your insurance has a co-pay, you are asked to make that payment at the time of service. You are responsible for any deductibles and co-insurance. Please contact your insurance company for details regarding your insurance plan. As a courtesy to our patients, we will file all primary, secondary and tertiary claims.
Medicare
Our doctors are Medicare participating physicians. Medicare patients are responsible for their yearly deductible beginning January 1 of each year and for 20% of the Medicare allowable. We file all Medicare supplemental claims for our patients.
Procedures
Out patient procedures may be scheduled at Southern Surgery Center or at West Georgia Health System. Patients may chose which facility they prefer.
Records
Please notify us at the time of your visit of any changes to your address, phone number or insurance.
The Gastroenterology Center, P.C. will keep all patient relationships personal and confidential. No information will be released unless we have a signed authorization from the patient. Please review our Privacy Policy, found on this website.
